Arrival time

We are now on the last leg of our journey!

Our estimated arrival time is midnight. We will update the blog if there are any changes. Pupils will text when we are at Brough.

If I could please ask parents and carers to make sure thay they do not park near the bus stop to avoid congestion.

Thanks,

Mr Thompson

We were in the middle of culture yesterday evening!

Easter Parade – ‘Los Nazarenos’ are in the conical hats and cover their faces out of shame as they are giving penance. Under ‘el paso’ (the float) are ‘los costaleros’ who are carrying it. As it is so heavy, they have lots of rehearsals beforehand carrying a wooden float with sandbags. It is a very serious and religious procession. Pupils were very respectful.

On the coach!

We are now on the coach and on our way back to Hull. We estimate about 4 and a half hours from here. We will ask pupils to let you know when we are at Brough.

All pupils have been given passports and UK health cards and asked pupils to put them somewhere safe.

ETA at Malet Lambert to be confirmed!

Pupils were complimented on their exemplary behaviour by British Airways staff.

Thanks,

Team Madrid
