We have hit a slight diversion and it is now looking more like 00:15am.
We will still get pupils to ring when at Brough to give you more of an accurate idea of our arrival as there are roadworks too.
Thanks,
Mr. Thompson

We are now on the last leg of our journey!
Our estimated arrival time is midnight. We will update the blog if there are any changes. Pupils will text when we are at Brough.
If I could please ask parents and carers to make sure thay they do not park near the bus stop to avoid congestion.
Thanks,
Mr Thompson
Easter Parade – ‘Los Nazarenos’ are in the conical hats and cover their faces out of shame as they are giving penance. Under ‘el paso’ (the float) are ‘los costaleros’ who are carrying it. As it is so heavy, they have lots of rehearsals beforehand carrying a wooden float with sandbags. It is a very serious and religious procession. Pupils were very respectful.
We asked pupils to take part in a selfie competition at the Palace. These are the results…
The winners were Mrs Drew’s group!! Well done girls!
We are now on the coach and on our way back to Hull. We estimate about 4 and a half hours from here. We will ask pupils to let you know when we are at Brough.
All pupils have been given passports and UK health cards and asked pupils to put them somewhere safe.
ETA at Malet Lambert to be confirmed!
Pupils were complimented on their exemplary behaviour by British Airways staff.
Thanks,
Team Madrid
We are head of schedule and we will update you after security and baggage collection.

We have had lots of fun today visiting the food market. Pupils tried lots of new things.
We then explored the Palace and went shopping in Puerta del Sol.
We finished the day off with a buffet tea and the flamenco show. Once again we are immensely proud of pupils how they have represented the school.
Thanks,
Team Madrid
